We are just a little late getting out our February newsletter, like the month is about gone. We are doing well, we hope you are also doing well. Erlene is baking blueberry muffins, Korene has the day off and I’m watching the shop.

We attended a Nature’s Sunshine Kick-Off 2013 meeting in Portland last night. Many new promotions and tools are coming to help us help people with their health. There are programs to help members regardless of how they prefer to do the Nature’s Sunshine business. You can work out of you home, have a retail store, have an online business, or be a health practitioner.

I hope all of you members maintain an e-mail contact with NSP. They have specials and promotions all the time. For example, I just ordered Silver Shield on a buy 3 get one free special for two days only. If NSP doesn’t have your e-mail address you will not get the word in time to take advantage of the specials. We have NSP’s Web address in our favorites (www.naturessunshine.com) so we can order in a hurry.

Their are still people coming in with flu and cold symptoms. We send them home with a bottle of Silver Shield and a bottle of Elderberry D3fense. We wait a couple of days for them to come in and tell us how well they worked, and how great they feel.

Zyto Compass bio-surveys. We do bio-surveys on our Compass free for all of our Nature’s Sunshine Members. You can call and set up an appointment or just stop by for your bio-survey. We have many members do their bio-survey each month.

The flu season is here, what you can do

The flu season must be here, at least it’s all over the news. I have never had a flu shot, and have not had the flu in 20 years. I believe the way to avoid the flu and other repertory infections is to have a strong immune system. So how do you build and maintain a strong immune system. First, there are the common sense things that you can do every day like wash you hands frequently, drink water, limit milk consumption, and get plenty of rest.

Also there are a couple of Nature’s Sunshine products that will help build and maintain your immune system. One of my very favorites is NSP’s Elderberry D3fense. I take 2 capsules 2 times a day to build and maintain my immune system. If you already have a cold or flu you can take 2 capsules every hour for five hours to kick the immune system. I’m also a big believer in Silver shield. It does not make any difference which virus or bacteria that you are exposed to, Silver Shield will kill it. At the first sign of a cold or flu I take 2 teaspoons 2 times a day. For respiratory issues or a sore throat I like to gargle a teaspoon in a little water, then swallow. That works for me.

Greetings to all of our Nature’s Sunshine member. We hope you are doing well and are looking forward to the holidays. We are doing well.

KORENE, our daughter-in-law has joined Erlene and I in working in our store. She is completing her training to become a certified herbalist.

Zyto Compass assessments are proving to be very useful

Zyto Compass assessments are proving to be very useful. What I like about the Compass assessment is that it sometimes will come up with a product that we don’t use a lot with our clients. With over 600 products is easy to overlook an important one. I did an assessment on a young woman the other day. She had 47 biomarkers out of range, but using one product would bring 36 of them back into range. That one product was Lavender Fine. That would be a very good investment.

Vitamin D3, The Sunshine Vitamin

As the days get shorter and more days are cloudy we have less exposure to bright sun light. Shorter days and cloudy sky may leave us with a vitamin D3 deficiency. A vitamin D3 deficiency may leave us with low energy, depression and a host of other symptoms.
