Zyto Compass assessments are proving to be very useful. What I like about the Compass assessment is that it sometimes will come up with a product that we don’t use a lot with our clients. With over 600 products is easy to overlook an most important one. I did an assessment on a young woman the other day. She had 47 biomarkers out of range, but using one product would bring 36 of them back into range. That one product was Lavender Fine. That would be a very good investment.

Newsletter February 2011

Erlene and I hope you are having a good year. It’s been a good year for us so far. Here it’s February already and we are behind on getting out our newsletter each month, as is our goal. It feels more like Spring than Winter this last couple of weeks. The flowers are popping up out of the ground already.

Cleansing and detoxifying the body is the first step on the path to better health for most people. We offer several very good detoxifying and cleansing programs that are safe and gentle to use. The ones that I recommend are the CleanStart, Dieters Cleanse, or Tiao He Cleanse.

The CleanStart cleanse is a 14 day cleanse involves drinking a drink and taking three capsules twice a day.

The Dieters Cleanse is a 14 day cleanse the combines weight loss and cleansing. All capsules, to be taken in the AM, at Noon, and PM.

Vitamin D3, The Sunshine Vitamin

As the days get shorter and more days are cloudy we have less exposure to bright sun light. Shorter days and cloudy sky may leave us with a vitamin D3 deficiency. A vitamin D3 deficiency may leave us with low energy, depression and a host of other symptoms. Dr. Mercola says everyone should be tested for D3 deficiency as a regular part of your health check-up, it’s that important.

Zucchini Nut Loaf

Zucchini Nut Loaf

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (or spelt flour)

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

1 cup sugar

1 cup finely shredded unpeeled zucchini

1 egg

1/4 cup cooking oil

1/4 teaspoon finely shredded lemon peel

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

In a mixing bowl stir together flour, cinnamon, baking soda , salt, nutmeg, and baking powder, set aside. In a mixing bowl beat together sugar, shredded zucchini, and egg. Add oil and lemon peel; mix well. Stir flour mixture into zucchini mixture. Gently fold in chopped nuts. Turn batter into a greased 8x4x2-inch loaf pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 55 to 60 minutes or till a wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove from pan: cool thoroughly on a rack. Wrap and store loaf overnight before slicing. Makes 1.
